If you are a true adventurer, come and climb your way into Tarzan’s Treehouse and discover how he has survived a life in the jungle since being orphaned as a baby. Explore Tarzan’s world and get a glimpse of his life, but watch out for Sabor!
Tarzan’s Treehouse is a 70-foot-high Disneydendron semperflorens grandis, or “large, ever-blooming Disney tree,” located in Adventureland. You begin by climbing a staircase and crossing a suspension bridge into the tree house, where you will walk through various levels on your tour of the ape-man’s home. Along the way, Jane’s sketches tell the story of Tarzan’s life as you look into different rooms and see what Tarzan’s life has been like.
The background noises of the jungle and music from the movie make you feel as though you really are in a different world. You will encounter some surprises along the way as you make your way down to ground level again, where you will find an interactive area comprised of equipment brought to the jungle by Jane and her father as well as some fun things they constructed in the wild. Enjoy banging on pots and pans, poking around tree stumps, and just “monkeying” around before rejoining the civilized world.
