The FastPass ticket system was a breakthrough in theme park history. Gone are the days of waiting in line for hours on end for an attraction that only lasts 5 minutes.  By utilizing FastPass you will be able to maximize your time and keep your group happy.

You can currently find the FastPass for the following attractions:

Here’s how FastPass works- As you approach the ride you will notice a sign above the entrance line showing the current waiting time above the Standby entrance (or normal line entrance), a sign denoting the FastPass entrance for those with FastPass tickets, and a sign showing you where the FastPass distribution machines are.   If you feel this wait time is longer then you would like, or if you simply would rather go on this attraction at a later time go to the FastPass distribution area near the entrance (if you can’t see it ask a Cast Member).  Above the distribution area you will see the FastPass Return Time display. This shows the return time to use the FastPass (for example: if the time is currently 10:15a.m. the sign might read “Return Between 11:30a.m. -12:30p.m.).  Your ticket will also state these times.  To receive the FastPass ticket simply wait in line for the next available FastPass machine and insert your Disneyland Resort admissions ticket. The machine will read your bar code (much like a scanner at the grocery store) and you will remove your ticket, and a FastPass ticket will be printed out for you.  You will need to do this with each individual’s park ticket and get a separate FastPass for everyone in your group.

After you have received the FastPass ticket you are free to travel around the park. When the time on your FastPass arrives you are free to enter the FastPass line and hand the cast member your ticket.  This line is much shorter than the regular line, although in some cases you may still have to wait a little – typically no longer than 15 minutes.

Special Note: The FastPass ticket will still be accepted after the time on the ticket has ended. For example: the time to return to use the FastPass was from 11:30a.m. -12:30p.m., you can still use the tickets at 1:45p.m..  You just can’t use them before the earliest time shown.
