Have you ever wanted to brave the rivers of America? Take a trek on Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes. Keep in mind that this is the only Disneyland attraction that is powered by the guests so the slower you paddle the longer it will take. This is a great way to see the rivers of America and Tom Sawyers Island. 
The vessels are real, 35 foot fiberglass canoes and the trip you take usually takes between 8-10 min depending on how well you can paddle. This attraction is seasonal and isn’t in operation at all times. Those days that it is operational it closes at dusk. To make sure you set off at a good time, try getting there before 11am.
